Ed Sheeran’s LOOP Tour Came to Petco Park on July 21, 2026

Ed Sheeran performed at Petco Park in San Diego, California, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, as part of the North American leg of his LOOP Tour. The tour supported his eighth studio album, Play, which was released in September 2025.

The concert featured an all-new 360-degree stage design, combining new tracks from Play with classic fan favorites spanning Sheeran’s entire discography.

What Went Down

The concert kicked off with Sheeran’s signature loop-pedal performances, building complex layers of guitar, vocals, and live percussion completely from scratch. The night featured a mix of acoustic solo numbers, full-stadium singalongs, and guest appearances.

A sold-out Petco Park brought Opening Day-level energy to downtown San Diego, filling the Gaslamp Quarter before and after the show.
