Petco Park Bag Policy for 2024

You don’t want to be that person who gets all the way to the front of the line only to be stuck with a bag too large to get through the security gate. Don’t be that fool. Know the rules.

Bags and backpacks are not allowed inside Petco Park for games, concerts and events, except for single compartment bags measuring 7” x 10” or smaller. Your bag may be subject to search when you enter.

What Bags Are Allowed
Small purses, clutches, small drawstring bags, plastic reusable grocery bags, and fanny packs are allowed as long as they are smaller than 7 inches by 10 inches in size.

Diaper bags and medical bags that necessitate being larger than the size limitations are allowed. They will be subjected to search at the gate.

What Bags Are Not Allowed
Clear Oversized Bags, Backpacks, Folding Chair Bags, Laptop Cases, Motorcycle Helmet Bags, and Canvas/Plastic Grocery Tote are not allowed.

While all of this may seem personally inconvenient, focus instead on how much swifter, smoother and safer your entry experience is at the entrance gates!

You are also allowed to leave mid-game and return if you need something.
