About the Cause

Curebound is a San Diego-based philanthropic organization that funds cancer research with the power to save lives. Through collaborative grants and strategic investments, Curebound accelerates better prevention, detection, and treatments for cancer.

To date, Curebound has awarded over $51.5 million in cancer research grants, funding 170 innovative studies across 23 types of adult and pediatric cancers. That investment has led to 30 expanded clinical trials reaching more than 1,800 patients and generated $161 million in follow-on funding.

The Concert for Cures launched in 2022 and has grown into one of the biggest annual charity concerts in the country. Previous headliners include Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Alicia Keys—all performing to sold-out Petco Park crowds united in the fight against cancer.
