Padres Opening Day 2027

San Diego Padres Opening Day is coming back to Petco Park on March 25, 2027. The first game of a new baseball season is always a little different: downtown is packed, the ballpark is buzzing and, for at least one afternoon, everybody is undefeated.

The Padres begin the regular season at home with a four-game series against their NL West rivals, the Arizona Diamondbacks. It’s the first chance to see the 2027 Padres in action — and Opening Day at Petco Park is rarely a quiet affair.
