Two of country’s biggest names co-headline a stadium tour for the first time, and San Diego gets one of just five stops. Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan bring the Double Down Tour to Petco Park on Sunday, August 16, 2026, with special guests Gavin Adcock, Chase Matthew, Dee Jay Silver, and DJ Rock. The Georgia natives expanded the run after a sold-out reunion at UGA’s Sanford Stadium drew 63,000 fans in April.
Jason Aldean is one of the defining country-rock voices of the past two decades. The Georgia-born singer broke through with 2005’s “Hicktown” and has since racked up 25+ No. 1 singles, multiple Entertainer of the Year wins from the ACM and CMA, and a catalog that’s helped redefine what mainstream country sounds like.
Aldean is currently mid-run on his Songs About Us Tour and slots the Double Down stadium dates in alongside it.
Luke Bryan is country’s reigning party-stadium headliner. Also a Georgia native, Bryan has been a touring force for 20+ years, with chart-topping hits, multiple Entertainer of the Year awards, a long run as an American Idol judge, and the annual Farm Tour that takes country music to working farms across America.
Bryan has solo Farm Tour and Word on the Street Tour dates running through July before the Double Down dates kick in.
Aldean and Bryan have shared stages plenty of times over their 20-year friendship, but the Double Down Tour is their first co-headlining stadium run. Expect a long, layered night:
Gavin Adcock — one of country’s loudest current breakout stories, with a hard-touring reputation and a sound that bridges country, southern rock, and grit. His audience has grown rapidly through relentless live shows and viral cuts.
Chase Matthew — Nashville-based country artist who broke through with “County Line” and has built a steady following on the festival and stadium-support circuit since, including previous runs with Aldean and Bryan.
Dee Jay Silver — longtime country tour DJ; a fixture on Aldean’s tours for over a decade, known for keeping crowd energy up between sets and the first DJ ever signed to a major Nashville label.
DJ Rock — Bryan’s longtime tour DJ, a Georgia Southern alum who’s been DJing Bryan’s Farm Tour and stadium runs for over a decade.
High Demand: Country stadium shows in San Diego sell fast, and this is the only Aldean/Bryan co-headline date on the West Coast in 2026.
Three nights, three genres at Petco: RÜFÜS DU SOL takes the stadium Saturday Aug 15 (electronic), Aldean & Bryan headline Sunday Aug 16 (country), and Noah Kahan closes the run Monday Aug 17 (folk-pop). One of the most concentrated concert weekends in Petco Park history.
The MTS Trolley is your best option for a sold-out stadium show. All three lines serve Petco Park (12th & Imperial Station):
Park & Ride: Drive to Old Town Transit Center, park for free, ride the trolley downtown.
For a sold-out stadium show, parking will be extremely competitive. Reserve in advance.

Check our rideshare guide for Uber/Lyft pickup locations. Walk a few blocks away after the show to avoid surge pricing.
Petco Park enforces strict bag restrictions. Only small clutches (4.5” × 6.5”) and clear bags allowed.
For full-stadium concerts, the stage is positioned on the field facing home plate. Field GA gets you closest. Lower bowl (sections 100–130) offers the best view of the full production. Behind home plate on the upper level (300-level) gives you a centered, full-stage view at a fraction of the lower-bowl price — a sleeper move worth checking. See our best seats guide for value picks. No re-entry permitted.
