What Time Do Concerts End At Petco Park?

Concerts at Petco Park and Gallagher Square (the park at the park inside the park) usually end at 11pm. Please check individual concert listings as each event will have its own schedule.

When the event is over, traffic and congestion immediately around the ballpark can be thick, especially for larger concerts. The parking lot exits can clog. But downtown has many exitways and the jam resolves itself quickly. Similarly, rideshare demand can cause delays and soaring prices. Do your best to tap that button either a little bit early or after a short stroll away from the stadium.

Residential Noise Curfew

Petco Park is in a mixed residential neighborhood and many good citizen live nearby as well as those staying in hotels. In 2023, a group of East Village residents concerned about Gallagher Square noise filed a lawsuit against the park. According to San Diego city code, for hours after 7PM the maximum noise limit is 55 decibels.

One of the promised improvements of the newly renovated Gallagher Square venue is to mitigate the issue is a new surround-sound system that would decrease the level of noise directed into the neighborhood.
