Attending a concert at Petco Park is a big occasion for both artists and fans. You pay a good chunk for your tickets, make your way downtown, pay for parking or trolley. It’s going to be crowded with people, all hoping to have a good time. People just like you.. remember YOU are part of that crowd. The most important concert rule to know is the Golden Rule: treat others as you would hope to be treated. Don’t be too loud. Don’t be too tall. Don’t make a mess. Keep your hands to yourself. Consider a breath mint and an extra coat of deodorant. Put down your phone and enjoy yourself. All the good stuff mommy taught ya.
That said, there are a few more specific rules to be aware of when attending a concert at Petco Park stadium and the Sycuan Stage at Gallagher Square. Be smart and read up.
As with all this stuff, it is subject to change and to individual tweaks on a per-event basis. If you have any questions let us know and we’ll try to help get them answered. Party on, Wayne? Party on, Garth.
No your dog is not allowed.
Here’s what time concerts usually end.
Unless noted, all concerts are rain or shine. Small umbrellas may be allowed on a per-event basis (Note: not allowed for this upcoming Chris Stapleton concert.)
Petco Park is cashless.
