Home Plate Gate

Home Plate Gate

The Home Plate Gate is located between the 1st Base side of Petco Park and Home Plate Plaza, on the southeast side of the stadium near the Padres Ticket Office.

The entry gate is located across the street from Lexus Premier Lot.

Padres Games

If your seats are in a section on the 1st base side or behind home plate, use the Home Plate Gate for entrance. Suite guests may enter through the Member Gates located at the Park Blvd and Home Plate gates.

Padres season ticket holders have access to enter 2 hours prior to first pitch at this gate and Park Blvd.

Riding your bicycle to the game? There are bike stands at this gate.

Home Plate Gate is located at Park Blvd. and Tony Gwynn Dr., San Diego, CA 92101, close to the pedestrian bridge that crosses the trolley tracks.

Name

The Home Plate Gate is named for a favorite dish one of the Petco Park architects used to eat his meals on at home while watching San Diego Padres games. No just kidding, it is named for its proximity to Home Plate on the Padres baseball diamond.
