Brazilian tech-house producer Mochakk headlines Gallagher Square for a mid-week outdoor event. Presented by LED Presents, this 21+ performance serves as a standalone showcase on Thursday, September 24, 2026, ahead of the weekend festival schedules.
Mochakk (Pedro Maia) is a Brazilian DJ and music producer who has grown rapidly in the international house music circuit. Pairings of percussive Latin groove patterns with classic house roots define his production style, while his live sets emphasize quick transitions and physical, high-energy mixing.
His catalog is highlighted by club releases including “Da Fonk” and “Jealous,” alongside the conceptual Locomotiva Ibiza 2099 EP series on Circoloco Records. He maintains regular appearances at Ibiza’s DC-10, Time Warp, and major outdoor festival stages globally.
Mochakk’s sets transition between minimal tech-house, driving tech-house, and rhythmic elements. His shows focus heavily on live loop adjustments and real-time improvisation based on crowd response, avoiding a static, pre-recorded flow.
The performance will focus primarily on tech-house tempos and heavy basslines. As an outdoor show under LED Presents, the production features wide-format LED visual screens and a sound delay system configured to direct sound evenly up the grassy lawn.
While the standard ballpark concourses are scaled back for concerts, on-site beverage stands and craft beer booths flank the main viewing lawn. Because this is a mid-week event with doors opening at 5:00 PM, attendees looking for pre-show dining can find numerous fast-casual restaurants within walking distance throughout the East Village neighborhood.
All ticket holders must enter exclusively through the East Village Gate located on 10th Avenue.
Consult the Petco Park Parking Guide for downtown lot maps and daily rates. Because this is a Thursday evening event, incoming concert traffic directly overlaps with standard downtown afternoon commuter congestion. Securing a spot in advance is recommended.
The MTS Trolley routes directly to the 12th & Imperial station, situated next to the venue. The Green, Blue, and Orange transit lines all service this hub, providing the most direct route to bypass local automotive congestion.
Gallagher Square weeknight events observe a strict 10:00 PM curfew. When the show ends, all attendees exit simultaneously onto 10th Avenue. To bypass the immediate pedestrian gridlock and rideshare surge pricing, we recommend walking 3 to 4 blocks north into the East Village commercial area or west toward the Gaslamp Quarter before attempting to book a ride.
This event is strictly 21+ only. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or international passport) is required to pass security turnstiles.
Review the explicit security parameters in the Petco Park Bag Policy. Only small clutches or completely transparent security bags are allowed inside the venue gates.
Late September evenings in San Diego are typically mild and clear, with temperatures averaging in the mid-to-high 60s. The open-air venue cools down quickly after sunset, so carrying a light layer or jacket is recommended.
