About the Show

This marked Blink-182’s first public concert at Petco Park, though they played a private show for TwitchCon at the venue in 2019. The band performed their biggest San Diego show to date, featuring material from across their career including tracks from their 2023 reunion album One More Time.

The setlist included side project covers with Tom DeLonge performing Box Car Racer’s “There Is” and all three members playing +44’s “When Your Heart Stops Beating.”

About Blink-182

From Poway, a half-hour’s drive north of Petco Park, Blink-182 is comprised of Mark Hoppus (bass/vocals), Tom DeLonge (guitar/vocals), and Travis Barker (drums). They were key participants in the pop-punk explosion of the late ’90s and early 2000s, known for infectious melodies, high-energy live shows, and humorous lyrics.

Their breakthrough came with Enema of the State (1999), which produced hits like “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?” The band released more successful albums including Take Off Your Pants and Jacket before a hiatus in 2005.

They regrouped in 2009, released Neighborhoods in 2011, and underwent lineup changes. In 2021, DeLonge—a self-proclaimed huge Padres fan—rejoined the band. Blink-182 has sold 50 million albums worldwide, solidifying their status as one of pop-punk’s best-selling and genre-shaping acts.

Pierce the Veil is a San Diego band formed in 2006 by Vic and Mike Fuentes. They’ve released five studio albums including Collide with the Sky (2012) featuring the hit “King for a Day,” and The Jaws of Life (2023) after a seven-year hiatus.
