Can I leave a Padres Game And Come Back?

Yes, you are allowed to leave the stadium during the game and re-enter. Generously, Petco Park guests have in and out privileges during San Diego Padres games.

Note this is a nice exception to the policies of most major league baseball stadiums. Most do not extend in/out privileges.

How does the exit and reentry process work at Petco Park?

If you want to go out of the stadium and return during a game, here’s how the works:
  1. Get your digital ticket scanned at the game before exiting
  2. You will be able to re-enter by scanning your ticket again.

What About Concerts

Concerts and other events at Petco Park are subject to their own individual entry and reentry guidelines. For most concerts, re-entry is not permitted.
