Billy Joel is coming to San Diego for a concert at Petco Park on Saturday, May 14, 2016. It’s part of a newly announced summer concert series that features many US ballparks. This will be the first time Billy (Can I call him Billy? Ok then. Mr. Joel) will be performing a show in San Diego since 2001, when he played a show at SDSU. Which sounds like a long time until you realize the last time the Padres won a playoff series was 1998.
Notice: With a sellout crowd expected, concert guests are strongly encouraged to arrive downtown early and enjoy one of the many restaurants and bars in the area. Parking lots will open at 2:00 p.m., gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and guests should be in their seats for the show no later than 7:30 p.m.
The legendary piano man Billy Joel is one of the best selling artists in the United States and most well known for the song “Piano Man.”
Other baseball stadiums on the Billy Joel tour include Nationals Park, Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Citizens Bank Park and the Pirates’ PNC Park.
How much do Billy Joel tickets cost?
Starting as low as $49.50 for the schnozz-bleeders, up to $134.50 and then really whatever you are willing to pay to those who got theirs ahead of you.
There were presales happening for American Express card members, SiriusXM subscribers, and other sources.
