Ocean Avenue

Yellowcard’s Ocean Avenue, released in 2003, was a major breakthrough in punk rock. It debuted at number 23 on the US Billboard 200 and was eventually certified platinum. Featuring a range of beloved singles such as “Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, and “Way Away”, the album was celebrated for its lyrical depth, technical musicianship, and potential for growth. It’s an example of the power of punk rock, influencing countless musicians and bands over the years. To top it off, Yellowcard performed on the Vans Warped Tour in the same year, solidifying their status as one of the most influential early 2000s punk rock acts.
