About RL Grime

Los Angeles-based producer RL Grime is a rising star in the electronic music scene. His debut EP “Grapes,” released in April 2012 with remixes by Shlohmo, Salva, and LOL Boys, catapulted him to the forefront. Soon after, his track “Trap On Acid” became an international club anthem, earning support from Diplo, A-Trak, Flosstradamus, and more.

A highlight of his career came with his bootleg remix of “Mercy,” created in collaboration with LA-based producer Salva. This track achieved a staggering 120,000 SoundCloud views within two days, showcasing his ability to reshape electronic production.

RL Grime’s distinct blend of melodic elements and Houston-inspired influences has connected the roots of southern hip-hop with the modern electronic music landscape. This unique approach redefines the role of a 21st-century producer, making him a visionary artist who continuously pushes boundaries and shapes the evolving soundscape.
