What Is The Draft?

The Draft by Ballast Point is a restaurant / bar inside the Petco Park.

The Draft is located on the Main Concourse level near section 105.

Menu

Ballast Point beers on tap, cans of Cutwater Spirits, as well as other local and regional beers. The Draft features picnic-style seating and a large outdoor patio with views of the field, making it a popular spot for pre-game and post-game drinks and dining. The menu includes classic ballpark favorites like hot dogs and pretzels, as well as more upscale options like seafood and salads.

Hot Hen Fries

Last year’s culinary rookie of the year was the Hot Hen. This year, a new twist has become an official part of The Draft menu: Hot Hen Fries. Shoestring french fries topped with the signature agave-dipped fried chicken patty, Fuego sauce, Fresno chile slices, coleslaw, red onions and pickles.

Ballast Point Brewery was founded in San Diego in 1996 by homebrewing enthusiasts Jack White and Yuseff Cherney. Their shared passion for beer and love of fishing inspired the creation of a wide range of beers, including porters, wheats, ales, and IPAs that quickly gained popularity among their community. What started as a small group of homebrewers who simply wanted to make great beer evolved into a pioneering brewery that has been rooted in San Diego for 25 years.
