Shopping at Petco Park: Team Store, Authentic Merch & Pop-Ups

Petco Park offers one of the most extensive onsite merchandise environments in Major League Baseball, ranging from a flagship authentic retail store to an immersive ticketed pop-up. Here’s everything to know about shopping for merch at the ballpark.

Main Retail Stores

Padres Team Store (Western Metal Supply Co. Building)

Located on the street level of the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building in the left-field corner, this is the flagship retail anchor for the ballpark and its a beauty. Carries the full spectrum of Nike authentic jerseys, New Era headwear, apparel collections, youth gear, and novelty gifts.

• Non-game day access: Open to the general public without a game ticket (Monday–Saturday 10am–5pm, Sunday 11am–4pm). Entry is via Tony Gwynn Drive.


• Game days: Re-opens exclusively for ticketed guests when gates open, staying open through the end of the game and up to an hour after the final pitch.

Padres Authentics

Situated on the Main Concourse across from the Lexus Club, this is the primary hub for certified game-used items and high-end memorabilia.

• Specialty focus: Certified game-used items and high-end memorabilia.
• Selection: Game-worn jerseys, cracked game-used bats, bases from recent games, authenticated game balls, and signed collectibles certified directly by MLB Authentication.

City Connect 2.0 & the La Conexión Pop-Up

The Padres unveiled their City Connect 2.0 look, moving on from the 2022 mint-and-pink palette to a “Día de los Muertos” aesthetic grounded in Obsidian navy with bone-white accents, marigold yellow, and sunset ombré chest graphics

“La Conexión” Immersive Retail Pop-Up

Located on the ground floor of the historic Candy Factory Building, adjacent to Gallagher Square in the outfield, this is a genuinely different kind of shopping experience. Part retail, part installation. It’s a ticketed, immersive pop-up designed to emulate the set of the Padres’ City Connect video reveal.

Transformed into vibrant tiendas with interactive installations, local art, an ofrenda display honoring franchise legends, a custom lowrider bike, and curated Mexican sweets (La Dulcería) and drinks.

Ticketing & merch credit: Access requires a $35 add-on ticket (available during game ticket checkout via MLB/Padres ticket channels; kids under 12 enter free). That $35 functions as a $35 merchandise credit, redeemable toward exclusive, limited-edition City Connect 2.0 apparel, custom drops, and accessories inside the space. More info.

Concourse Kiosks & Satellite Shops

Beyond the two main stores, portable kiosks and satellite trailers are scattered throughout the ballpark to cut down on lines at the main Team Store during high-attendance games:

• Portable kiosks: Main Concourse (100 Level), Upper Deck (300 Level), and Gallagher Square.
• Specialty stalls: Dedicated New Era cap stands, women’s apparel kiosks, and kid-focused merchandise stands, distributed around the concourse loops.
• Gallagher Square / Park at the Park: Satellite merchandise trailers for quick access to hats, tees, and game-day essentials.

Key Facts & Shopping Tips

• Cashless ballpark: Petco Park operates completely cashless. All merchandise stands and stores accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay).
• Season Ticket Member discounts: Members receive their standard percentage discount on retail items at the main Team Store and select concourse locations by scanning their digital membership card in the MLB Ballpark app.
• Non-game day parking: When visiting the Western Metal Supply Co. Team Store on non-game days, short-term parking is often accessible along 10th Avenue or K Street, or via designated spots in the Padres lot directly adjacent to the building.
