There’s no bigger fast-food fan of the Padres than Jack. Now he’s got his own permanent outpost inside the park
What’s So Special About Jack In The Box
Did you know
Jack in the Box is a fast food chain with deep local roots? Founder Robert Peterson grew up in San Diego, graduated from high school in City Heights, served in the Navy, married Maureen O’Connor (San Diego’s first female Mayor). All that sounds pretty local to us. The first Jack In The Box opened in 1951 on El Cajon Boulevard. “Jack” was the personification of the then-novel drive-thru ordering device.
Location at Petco Park
New in 2022, Jack In The Box can be found in Section 323.
