Where To Get PRONTO Card
Obtain a PRONTO
card from Trolley station ticket machines, the MTS
Transit Store, NCTD
Customer Service Centers, or participating retail outlets. PRONTO
cards cost $2 and require a minimum load of $3 – $5 at the time of purchase.
Kids Ride Free
The “Youth Ride Free with PRONTO
” program allows all riders aged 18 and under to travel for free on MTS
and North County Transit District (NCTD
) services. To qualify for the Youth Opportunity Pass, individuals aged 18 and under must have either a Youth PRONTO
app account or possess a PRONTO
Youth card. Note: children aged 5 and under can ride MTS
for free at all times, without needing a card or proof of eligibility. Read about the program
