How can I get an announcement on the Petco Park scoreboard?

It is an honor of a lifetime for San Diego Padres baseball fans. You can submit a message for birthdays, anniversaries, marriage proposals and other special announcements on the Petco Park scoreboard for $100. The proceeds support the Padres Foundation for Children.

Before You Order: The Critical Stuff

Deadlines: Your request and payment must be made a MINIMUM of 24 hours before the game (and 48 hours for Sunday games). Late submissions may not be accepted, so don’t wait until game day.

Where it appears: These announcements display on the right field LED ribbon board, not the mammoth HD scoreboard. Important: You cannot see the ribbon board from Right Field odd sections 129-137 or 227-235. Check the seat map before ordering if you’re in right field—it’s your responsibility to verify you can actually see it from your seats.

When it displays: Messages start appearing after the 1st inning during inning breaks. Your message runs at least once but could repeat if time permits (not guaranteed). You won’t know the exact inning, so keep your eyes on the board throughout the game.

Message Guidelines

Character limit: 70 characters maximum, including spaces and punctuation. All messages display in capital letters and are auto-centered.

What you CAN’T include:

• MLB player names (any team)
• References to other MLB teams or organizations
• Social media handles of any kind
• Personal contact information (phone numbers, emails, addresses)
• Photos, QR codes, or emojis
• Obscene, offensive, or inappropriate language
• Commercial advertising (you can welcome a group or company attending the game, but no promotions)
