Elote Mexican Street Corn

Posted in 2023 in

New for the 2023 season:

Elote is Spanish for “corn cob,” and the word often refers to more specifically a style of classic Mexican street corn, grilled or roasted, slathered in a crema and seasoned with salt, chile powder, cotija and limon.

At Petco Park, Field level behind home plate, look for the new Mexican Street Corn cart serving authentic elotes, available either on or off the cob. The Elote Classico features grilled corn topped with lime crema, cotija cheese, cilantro, Fuego Sauce, and Tajin. For a more adventurous twist, you can try the Elote Especial, which includes Tajin Pop Rocks and a jalapeño stuffed with chicharrón carnitas. Both options are sure to satisfy your cravings for a delicious and authentic Mexican snack, and another taste of Mexican culture at Petco Park.
