Elote & Michelada Cart

Elote is Spanish for “corn cob,” and the word often refers to more specifically a style of classic Mexican street corn, grilled or roasted, slathered in a crema and seasoned with salt, chile powder, cotija and limon.

At Petco Park, Field level behind home plate, look for the Mexican Street Corn cart serving authentic elotes, available either on or off the cob and Micheladas. The Elote Classico features grilled corn topped with lime crema, cotija cheese, cilantro, Fuego Sauce, and Tajin. For a more adventurous twist, you can try the Elote Especial, which includes Tajin Pop Rocks and a jalapeño stuffed with chicharrón carnitas. Both options are sure to satisfy your cravings for a delicious and authentic Mexican snack, and another taste of Mexican culture at Petco Park.

Micheladas at Petco Park are a popular and refreshing choice for fans, offering a twist on the classic Mexican drink. Typically made with light Mexican lagers like Corona or Modelo, these Micheladas come with customizable spice levels, lime, and hot sauce, often served in large cups with chili powder or Tajín on the rim. Some stands even feature specialty sauces to add a unique flavor. The Michelada pairs perfectly with ballpark foods like tacos and nachos, making it a great choice to enjoy while cheering on the Padres in the sunny San Diego atmosphere.

New in 2025, this cart will pick up the torch of Barrio Dogg (RIP) and serve Tijuana-Style Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs!
