Padres Postseason Watch Party

If you plan to spend Thursday, October 2 cheering on the Padres with fellow Faithful, Gallagher Square at Petco Park is the place to be. The Padres are hosting an official Postseason Watch Party for Wild Card Game 3. Find out what to expect so you can arrive prepared and enjoy the full game-day atmosphere.

The Watch Party will take place in Gallagher Square and will be shown on the stadium’s large videoboard on the Sycuan Stage. This setup is designed for families and groups who want the collective energy of a live crowd while watching the game together outdoors in the Petco Park neighborhood.

Admission for the Watch Party is $5 for adults; children under 36 inches in height are admitted complimentary. Net ticket proceeds will be donated to the Padres Foundation, so your admission also supports team community work. Tickets are sold online only, cannot be purchased at the Petco Park box office, are not eligible for resale, and are limited to four per household.

If you’re driving in, parking will be available in the Padres-controlled lots, including Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park and the Lexus Premier Lot. For additional downtown options, third-party parking apps and services such as SpotHero are recommended.

On-site offerings at Gallagher Square will include photo opportunities, games and the Nuna Playground — a family-friendly area with activities for kids. Fans will also have the chance to purchase select Theme Game merchandise from this season. The Padres New Era Team Store will operate extended hours (9:00 AM to 7:00 PM) on event day, and the Gallagher Square Team Store and concessions will be open for the Watch Party.

Season Ticket Members retain their usual benefits for the event: a 10% discount on both concessions and merchandise. If you plan to buy team gear or snacks, bring your membership credentials to take advantage of that savings.

Tickets are intended to keep the event accessible and family-oriented, so remember that household limits are enforced and resale is prohibited. Arrive early to find parking, take part in pre-game activities, and stake out a good spot on Gallagher Square before the broadcast begins.
