Getting Savannah Bananas tickets isn’t like buying a Padres ticket. There’s no on-sale date and no refresh-and-pray queue — it’s a lottery, and the window to get in is closing. The Bananas return to Petco Park on Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, 2027, and both of their previous San Diego visits sold out. Here’s how to give yourself the best shot.
The fine print: Joining the list does not guarantee you’ll get the chance to buy tickets. And you must be on the list to be selected — there’s no other path to face-value tickets from the Bananas.
Does signing up early help? No. The Bananas have said the drawing is random, so the day you join doesn’t change your odds. But don’t wait until Halloween night either.
2027 Petco Park pricing hasn't been announced. For the March 2026 games, official tickets started at $35. If you see listings far above that, you're looking at resale.
Want to bring your whole crew? The Padres are offering private suites for the Banana Ball games. Fill out the Suite Information form on the Padres’ Savannah Bananas event page and a Padres representative will contact you with details.

For the March 2026 games, the Padres sold a separate VIP Banana Tour add-on: a pre-game, behind-the-scenes look at areas of Petco Park normally off-limits to fans, ending with the famous banana pudding and first crack at merchandise. You needed both a game ticket and a tour ticket for the same date. It hasn't been announced for 2027 yet — we'll update this page if it returns.
Didn’t get picked? Resale is the fallback. Last time, both games sold out and resale tickets were still available on game day — at well above face value.
A word of caution: The Bananas have warned that tickets bought through third-party sites are often fraudulent and may not be accepted at the gate. If you go the resale route, stick with a marketplace that offers a buyer guarantee, and never pay a stranger on social media.

Here's how it worked last time; we'll confirm for 2027:
Either way: transfer tickets to everyone in your party ahead of time so each person has their own on their phone. Gate lines move much faster.
How do I get Savannah Bananas tickets for Petco Park?
Join the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List and select San Diego as your City of Interest before October 31, 2026 at 8:59 PM PT. If you’re randomly drawn, you’ll get the chance to buy tickets.
Does joining the lottery guarantee tickets?
No. It only makes you eligible for the random drawing.
Can I buy tickets at the Petco Park box office?
Not through a normal on-sale. Official tickets go through the lottery.
What if I want to bring a big group?
Submit the Suite Information form on the Padres’ event page and a Padres representative will follow up.
What if I miss the deadline?
Your only remaining options are a private suite or resale. Buy resale carefully — see the scam tips above.
