The San Diego Padres honor regional cultural ties with the annual Japanese Heritage Celebration on Monday, April 27, 2026 against the Chicago Cubs. The event is presented in partnership with the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana and the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park.
Each special theme game ticket includes a seat for the Cubs matchup plus an exclusive limited-edition Padres-themed Japanese Heritage snapback hat. A portion of every package sold benefits local cultural initiatives.
Head to the theme game pickup station in Gallagher Square when gates open. Redemption ends 1 hour after first pitch, so plan to arrive early before baseball gets underway.
Weekday evening games fill up quickly around East Village. Pre-book your parking space nearby to save time on game night.
