Padres Harry Potter Day 2025

Posted in 2025 in

Harry Potter Day is Monday, September 1, 2025. (Aka Harry Potter Night but the game starts at 3:40pm.) The San Diego Padres will trade innings with the visiting Voldemort Orioles.

This is a Theme Game, make sure you know what that means. The package will include a ticket to the Orioles vs. Padres game, plus a Hogwarts-themed hat.

Note: This is Labor Day!

About Harry Potter

Harry Potter is basically the story of a scrappy rookie phenom getting called up to a league he didn’t know existed, an ancient boarding school called Hogwarts. The real chaos kicks in when Harry joins Quidditch, baseball on broomsticks with a rulebook written by lunatics. He plays Seeker, a sort of magical center fielder who ends the game by snatching a tiny winged ball, robbing the other team of a homer and netting an absurd 150 points, effectively invalidating everything anyone else did.

Over seven seasons, Harry and his ragtag clubhouse of friends become seasoned veterans, fighting through cursed objects, corrupt institutions, magical fascism, a Barry-Bonds-caliber villain named Voldemort, and puberty. It’s got drama, walk-offs, heartbreak, redemption, and just enough chaos that by the end, you’re not even mad the rules never made sense. Because heart wins games, and Harry’s got plenty of it.

About Baltimore Orioles

House Baltimore, as if under a hex, has staggered through Year 2025 with a 60–74 mark, their dreams snagging a golden October snitch fading like wisps of smoke from a miscast spell. Though Headmaster Mansolino now presides, his wards remain caught in the grip of ill fortune. With any passage to postseason all but sealed, their destiny for the remainder of this term lies in playing the trickster poltergeist, unsettling rival houses, while grooming their fledgling first-years for brighter quests to come.
