FanFest is held at Petco Park. Great family fun and a chance for fans to charge up Padre fever for the upcoming baseball season. Admission is free, although advance tickets are required. More info on tickets.

2024 Dates and Details

The 2024 season’s San Diego Padres FanFest at Petco Park will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 12:30PM to 5:30PM.

The 2024 Padres Fan Fest was sponsored by SeatGeek.
  • Shop for memorabilia, jerseys, helmets, and other collectibles at the Garage Sale with proceeds supporting the Padres Foundation
  • Among those scheduled to attend: Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Xander Bogaerts, Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, Trevor Hoffman, Randy Jones, Mark Loretta, Steve Finley, Garry Templeton
  • Kids activities
  • Food and drink specials including first-tastes of new concessions concepts
  • Show your support and get your 2024 Padres gear

Schedule

  • Noon – 2 PM: Photo & Autograph Sessions

    Meet Padres players and alumni for photos and autographs at various locations in Petco Park. First-come, first-served.
  • Noon – 5:30 PM: Padres Foundation Garage Sale

    Shop memorabilia and unique Padres items at the annual garage sale, with proceeds supporting Padres Foundation’s charitable efforts.
  • Noon – 5:30 PM: Gallagher Square Grand Opening

    Explore the transformed Gallagher Square. View upgrades like the engraved Legacy bricks in the Tony Gwynn terrace.
  • Noon – 6 PM: Gear Up for 2024

    Get your Padres merchandise before the 2024 season at the Padres New Era Team Store and retail locations with up to 50% off select items.
  • 1 – 2 PM: Player & Leadership Forums

    Attend Q&A panels with Padres players, broadcasters, and front office executives on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square.
  • 2 – 3:30 PM: Padres Player Workout

    Watch players prepare for Opening Day, including a batting practice with a chance to find a “golden ball” for special rewards.
  • 3:30 – 5:30 PM: San Diego Celebrity Softball Game

    New this year, the 1st (annual?) Celebrity/Alumni Softball Game will be managed by Padres alumni Trevor Hoffman and Tony Gwynn Jr. featuring fellow alums and celebrities, including (subject to change): Alex Morgan & Abby Dahlkemper (USWNT), Drew Brees, Andre Reed, Rashid Shaheed & Chris Olave (NFL), Kelsey Plum (WNBA), Rey Mysterio (WWE), Kerri Walsh Jennings (Olympic Gold Medalist), Landon Donovan (USMNT), TV’s Kyle Mooney (SNL) & Scheana Marie (Vanderpump Rules), Dominick Cruz & Brandon Moreno (UFC), Miles Doughty (Slightly Stoopid), Rob Machado & Taylor Knox (Pro Surfer), coach Sean Lewis, writer Dave McCary, YouTuber FaZe Rug and Zeth & Saylor.

    Fans can enjoy live music from the Padres House Band, ballpark food, a kids scavenger hunt, and more!

    Parking

    Parking will be free, first come, first served, in the nearby San Diego Padres Parking Lots, including:Tip: come early, it will likely be busy.

    entrance gates open at 12:00PM for season ticket holders. 12:30PM for all fans (with tickets).

    Baseball Schedule

    FanFest has historically taken place before the season starts. Perhaps delayed by the Gallagher Square renovation, this year is a little bit unusual. Here’s how the schedule breaks down:

    March 20-21, 2024: Padres / MLB Opener in Seoul, Korea
    March 24, 2024: Padres FanFest!
    March 25-26, 2024: Padres Exhibition Series at Petco Park against the Seattle Mariners.
    March 28, 2024: Padres 2024 home opener vs San Francisco.
