Padres Opening Day

The Padres home opener for the 2007 season will be April 6 at 7:05pm against the Colorado Rockies. It is a 3-game series that is part of a 6-game opening homestand at Petco Park.

The Rockies were 76-86 last season, finishing 12 games behind the NL West Champion Padres. Manager Clint Hurdle is in his 6th year and has his work cut out if he wants to pull this team out of the basement.
