Are pets allowed at Petco Park?

Padres fans wondering whether the Petco brand will loosen animal restrictions at the gate will be disappointed to learn that Fluffy and Fido must stay at home. Only service animals (i.e. seeing-eye dogs) are allowed in.

On special promotional dates, pets will be permitted in certain sections of the ballpark, so keep an eye out for those. And if those pets behave, perhaps it will pave the way for more opportunities.
