Snapdragon Stadium Name Meaning
Why is it called Snapdragon? The stadium, which opened in 2022, will bear the name Snapdragon Stadium (not Snap Dragon Stadium) as a result of a 15-year naming rights agreement worth $45 million. Snapdragon, the mobile platform by Qualcomm, serves as the source for the stadium's name. Legends Global Partnerships and JMI Sports, acting on behalf of the university, collaborated to broker this deal. Bashor Field honors the name of a benefactor, Dianne Bashor, whose generosity helped finance the stadium.
