Sit-Down Restaurants Inside Petco Park

The classic baseball foods are classics because of their ability to be eaten at your seat. A hot dog can be consumed in one hand, without utensils or plate. The rewarding shelling of a peanut helps pass the time between pitches. However some occasions call for a full-service meal at a sit-down restaurant, perhaps before the game or one of the slower mid-game innings. For a full-service meal during a Padres game, here are your options inside the stadium:

• Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill: San Diego’s Petco Park is one of the few baseball stadiums you should not only trust the seafood, but seek it out. And Blue Water offers the best. Best bets at the market-style outpost include the fresh poke bowls, sashimi platters, and fish tacos. Enjoy outdoor seating with views of the field and Cutwater cocktails.

Alpine Beer Company (New): Taproom located at the south end of the ballpark in section 309 with stunning bay views and a broad selection of local craft beer.

• Board & Brew: Enjoy salads and sandwiches, especially the Turkado, in a relaxed vibe with views of San Diego Bay and the Coronado bridge. There’s a television above the bar to keep up with the game.

The Loft: Petco Park’s sports bar inside the Western Metal Supply Building, located on the 4th floor with an open terrace overlooking the field. It’s got pool tables, tons of tvs, a full bar, sandwiches, sausages and more
