Who is Dom Dolla

Dom Dolla, born Dominic Harrison in 1991, is an Australian DJ and electronic dance music producer known for hit singles such as “Pump It”, “Be Somebody”, and “Strangers”. Dolla started producing music at the age of 16 and gained international recognition with his debut single “Pump It” in 2017, reaching number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in the US. His follow-up tracks “Be Somebody” and “Strangers” were also successful, cementing his status as a rising star in the genre.

Dolla has performed at major music festivals worldwide, including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland, and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2019 for Best Dance/Electronic Album for his debut album “Dom Dolla”. He has also won several other awards, including the 2018 International Dance Music Award for Best Breakthrough Artist.

Aside from his music career, Dolla is a self-taught producer and a passionate advocate for animal rights and veganism. His unique sound combines elements of house, techno, and pop, and he cites The Prodigy, Daft Punk, Skrillex, and Calvin Harris as his biggest influences.
