Chilean singer-songwriter and actress Mon Laferte has a musical style that spans pop, rock, bolero, cumbia, and salsa. Born on May 2, 1983, she has become a prominent figure in the Latin music scene. Mon Laferte has achieved global recognition, currently holding the title of the most listened to Chilean artist on Spotify worldwide. Her influence extends beyond her home country, making her a significant player in the international music arena.

Some of her well-known hits, including “Tormento,” “Amor completo,” “Si tú me quisieras,” “Tu falta de querer,” “Amárrame,” and “Mi buen amor,” have contributed to her widespread success. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to music, Mon Laferte has earned four Latin Grammy Awards, the most for any Chilean artist, along with two MTV Europe Music Awards and two Grammy Award nominations. Ximena Sariñana is a singer-songwriter and actress from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Her father is film director Fernando Sariñana and her mother is screenwriter Carolina Rivera. Sariñana’s musical career took off with the release of her debut album, “Mediocre,” in 2008. The album earned her a Grammy nom for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album. She followed up with several more albums, including “Ximena Sariñana” (2011), “No Todo lo Puedes Dar” (2014), and “¿Dónde Bailarán las Niñas?” (2019).
