Playoffs will also be played at Los Angeles Dodgers stadium, and for the National League playoffs, Houston and Arlington, Texas. The World Series in this unprecedented season will be held at the Rangers stadium in Arlington, Texas, while the coronavirus pandemic ravages on unchecked.
The American League Division Series (ALDS) at Petco Park will run October 6-10*, 2020. (*If necessary, best of five format). The American League Championship Series will then be held at Petco Park, October 11-17 (best of seven format).
The 2020 World Series is schedule to begin October 20, pending the will of storms, fires, social riots, famine, earthquakes, Bill Barr, etc.
Will there be fans at the 2020 baseball playoffs and World Series? This is still under consideration due to the coronavirus. Fans were not able to attend regular season games but solutions are being considered for the postseason to provide very limited attendance that ensures safety during the active spread of the devastating virus.
