Ticket Prices Increasing
Fans will be paying more this year for Padres tickets on gameday after a 3 percent increase over last year’s ticket prices. This amounts to a $2-$5 increase per ticket.
The Padres say the move is a creative way to increase revenue without raising every ticket price.
“Instead of just doing a blanket ticket price increase for 81 games across the board, we wanted to think through what would give people the greatest option,” the Padres’ spokesman Jeff Overton told NBC.
To avoid the extra bite, buy your Padres tickets in advance!
