Great article in SDBJ on the USA Sevens and rugby in general. It discusses the evolution of the sport, its growth and acceptance among fans. And Petco Park’s role in all of that.

The IRB World Sevens Series International Rugby Tournament and Festival is contracted to call Petco Park home for the next five years. Quite a jewel for America’s Finest City, considering Rugby is said to be the world’s third largest behind soccer and cricket.
