There is no better match in major league baseball than Petco Park and San Diego, in our opinion. The open air stadium is like a radiant emerald, set right in the heart of the city. The way downtown San Diego area has embraced the park and its fans has been miraculous to witness. With no disrespect to Qualcomm Stadium, the Padres new home is surrounded by baseball excitement that is beginning to rival baseball meccas like Chicago and New York.
