Petco Park introduces ban on smoking
Smokers are no longer allowed to light up inside the gates of Petco Park.
Padres CEO Sandy Alderson announced this February that Petco Park has become a smoke-free facility. In the past, smoking had been banned in the seating areas, although there were four designated smoking areas around the ballpark.
Now fans who want to smoke will have to exit the gates. “We’ll have a re-entry program,” Alderson said.
