Padres Parking Tips

The Insider’s Guide to Parking at Padres games.

1. Park AWAY from the stadium. The weather is beautiful, the people are friendly, the bars and restaurants are plentiful. Park in Little Italy, or Coronado, or near Balboa Park, and simply stroll.


2. Take the trolley, a taxi or bus


3. Get there just a little bit early. We all have the same plan so just 5 or 10 minutes ahead of the rush can make a huge difference.


4. Read about Pre-Paid parking options on the Padres website


5. Plan your exit and park accordingly. You can save an hour by parking on the right street facing the right direction.


6. Just move downtown! Vacant condos are easier to come by than vacant parking spaces. And the prices are better!
