Reviews

According to the reviews, Madonna’s concert in 2008 at Petco Park was her first time performing in San Diego since 1985, and it was highly anticipated. The show was high-energy, and Madonna’s voice was good. The show was professionally done, and the stadium was about 85% full, with a crowd that was 70% female and mostly between the ages of 30 to 55 years old. There was no opening act, and the show started at about 5 minutes after 9 pm and ended at about 10:55 pm. Madonna performed many of her classic hits.

Madonna’s 2008 election day concert was a celebration of both her music and the election of Barack Obama as the next President of the United States. The crowd responded enthusiastically to Madonna’s repeated salutes to Obama throughout the show. Madonna opened with two songs from her newest album, “Hard Candy,” and went on to perform several classic hits like “Vogue” and “Get Into the Groove.” She was joined on stage by up to a dozen musicians and dancers, with the latter often stealing the show with their impeccably choreographed routines. Overall, it was a memorable show.
