Here’s what ESPN.com has to say about pitcher-friendly Petco Park:

Petco Park (Padres): Even though some mild fence adjustments in right-center field did help this become a more homer-friendly park in 2006, Petco nevertheless saw the fewest runs scored in baseball in 2006 (652). Left-handed sluggers are particularly affected there; Brian Giles, for instance, has 22 homers at Petco in 239 career games.
