Take the Padres Coaster to Petco Park

Posted in 2023 in

It’s fast, convenient, scenic and fun! Take the train to San Diego Padres Games.

A round-trip ticket from North County to Petco Park costs $15, much cheaper than the price of gasoline, parking fees, stress and traffic associated with driving to the Padres game. Enjoy the safe ride and a nice frosty beer when you get to the stadium.

The new regional Youth Opportunity Pass allows those 18 and under with a Youth PRONTO card or account to ride free, making the COASTER a cost-effective way for families to get to the game.

The Coaster schedule has a dedicated train just for those attending San Diego Padres. Keep an eye out for northbound COASTER 699 train, aka ‘Padres Train,’ which will depart one hour after the conclusion of most baseball games or (or post-game fireworks) with an absolute departure of midnight. Baseball fans can catch the train from the Santa Fe Depot train station.

For more information on taking the coaster to San Diego Padres games, view the schedule. If you are reading this in or near a pandemic, be sure to check with the Coaster for their latest safety protocols.
